Thank you everyone who made Operation Christmas Child possible!!!It was quite a sight to see everyone help pack and wrap. Three faculty members joined us - Professors Ahmad (EE), Cumberbatch (EE), and Wolf (Physics)!
Let me thank you for your generosity. In an hour and a half, we packed 48 shoeboxes full of matchbox cars, combs, hair clips, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, soap, nick-nacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more for 48 children in third-world countries for Christmas. Also, we collected $394, which was $58 more than we needed to ship the boxes off at $7/box. So we'll be donating the extra money to the organization who runs this operation. This has been our biggest success so far!
